FOUNDER & MANAGER

The Chios Creative Center was a safe space for refugees living in Souda camp to express themselves creatively, be it through art, music, dance or sport. It offered them an escape and a place where they felt welcomed.

The weekly schedule was made up of arts & craft sessions and drawing and dance lessons led by the refugees themselves. The center was filled with instruments, art supplies and a sound system for them to make use of as they pleased as well and it became a place of refuge, a place to meet and a place for them to feel human again.
